UK National Commission for UNESCO

The United Kingdom National Commission for UNESCO (UKNC) is the focal point for all UNESCO-related matters in the UK and a constitutional part of the UK’s membership of UNESCO. The UKNC brings the benefits of UNESCO programmes and international agreements in education, science, culture, and communication and information, to government, academic community, and broader civil society, and ensures that these audiences fully contribute to, and shape, UNESCO’s global aims and activities. An independent, not-for-profit organisation, the UKNC is one of a network of around 200 National Commissions for UNESCO around the world.

United Kingdom for UNHCR is the UN Refugee Agency’s national partner for the United Kingdom. They refugees by advocating for their protection and raising funds that help UNHCR deliver humanitarian relief to displaced families across the globe. They are apolitical and believe that every person fleeing conflict and persecution has the right to seek protection.

UNICEF UK and UNICEF share a vision to build a better world for every child. Their shared ambition is to ensure every child here in the UK and worldwide is healthy, educated, and safe.

UN Women UK is the UK National Committee for UN Women. They exist to take action on gender equality here in the UK. Whilst supporting the work of our UN Women family around the world. The UN Women UK grassroots community, as well as their knowledge-sharing and educational work, empowers individuals to share, learn and take collective action towards gender equality.
